Using a Debit Card to rent a car in Fort Lauderdale (FLL) or West Palm Beach (PBI)

Renting a car in Orlando, Fort Lauderdale (FLL) or West Palm Beach (PBI) with a Debit Card is becoming difficult. Sunshine Rent A Car is one of the few companies left that will rent to travelers with only a Visa/Mastercard Debit Card.

As long as the debit card holder is over 21 and has verifiable Full Coverage Insurance that will follow them into our vehicle, we can rent them a car.

Please keep in mind that we place a minimum hold of $250 or $150 over the estimated total at the time of rental. These funds must be available when you are at our counter.

Our system can NOT accept prepaid credit cards no matter how much funds are available on the card.
